Crypto Vagabonds was founded by Boef in 2020. Here is the story of his journey to becoming a cryptopreneur.
Boef’s Story
Having grown up in a tribal community in Brazil, Boef spent his childhood in nature with limited interaction with the rest of society except to spend time with his birth family during summer holidays.
Having no concept of money, he got arrested for taking a water bottle from a store because he was thirsty.
Seeing everyone around him exchanging goods for “leaves with pictures on it”, Boef sensed its importance to the city tribespeople.
With no home and no money, Boef slept on the streets. As he contemplated what he needed to do to improve his situation, one thing was clear: he needed to find out more about this thing they called “money”.
So, every day he would go to the library until he had read every book they had about money and economics.
Fast-forward to today. Boef went from sleeping on the streets to owning several successful businesses internationally, always keeping an eye out for shifting economic trends, which led him to crypto in 2015.
Fascinated by blockchain technology, he started studying cryptocurrencies and became what he calls a “crypto fundamentalist.”
In 2015, Boef transferred all his assets into crypto, announcing that he would no longer hold any FIAT, bank accounts, credit cards or other form of traditional currency. His knowledge about crypto grew and soon friends were referring people to him to help them learn about safe crypto investments.
He was invited to talk on podcasts and met with leading experts in the crypto space. As his reputation and community grew, he created Crypto Vagabonds to gather his community in one supportive space where they could share knowledge about crypto.
His courses are recognized as some of the most accessible and complete crypto courses available, and his following keeps growing.
Boef is enjoying this next step in his crypto journey and is excited about the potential of the community he has created to help people become financially sovereign.
Mia’s Story
Originally from Russia, Mia has lived and worked in the real estate sector in Qatar before deciding to become an online entrepreneur in 2019. She founded Shape Your Life Up in 2020, an affiliate marketing business that offers practical steps to becoming your own boss by learning digital skills.
While working on building Shape Your Life Up, Mia got introduced to Boef’s business Crypto Vagabonds.
Curious about crypto, she booked a call with him, and that changed her life.
Warning her about the economic dangers that could result from the building tensions between Russia and the Ukraine, he urged her to invest her money in crypto so that her funds wouldn’t be frozen if things escalated. Though it seemed risky, she took his advice and never looked back.
Inspired by the potential of crypto from her own experience and the burning desire to help others, Mia decided to join the Crypto Vagabonds team. Building Crypto Vagabonds and Shape Your Life Up from her new location in Brazil, with her funds safely stored in crypto, Mia is living the “laptop lifestyle” she dreamed of back in 2019.
She became a partner in Crypto Vagabonds in 2022, and together with Boef and the rest of the Crypto Vagabonds team, she is passionate about helping others preserve their wealth and get out of the failing traditional financial system.
